Violence In The Crosstown Shootout

The Crosstown Shootout is considered one of the best rivalries in NCAA history. These two teams have played once a year since starting the rivalry in 1942. The two teams are only 2 miles away from each other, making the rivalry that much more intense. UC leads the all time series 49 games to 33, however Xavier has won the last 13 of 19. This game has ran into some problems with violence recently resulting in people and the NCAA going against this game. However even if there is some violence in the game it's much more then a game. This game really brings the city together and a little bit of trash talking makes the rivalry more intense and fun for the fans. A little bit of violence shouldn't stop these two teams from playing every year.
